Year 3

We’ve been learning about kenning poems in year three and wrote our own Christmas kennings. We enjoyed performing them for each other.

Year 3 had a blast at their Christmas party. Games, balloons, prizes galore!

On Friday, Year 3 enjoyed their Christmas lunch. Crackers were pulled, jokes were told and festive jumpers were worn. What a lovely day!

Year three enjoyed their visit to the Christmas fair this morning. Thank you to the Friends of Front Street group for organising it for us!

  In geography today, year 3 worked in teams to research different landmarks in Sicily and found out different facts as to why tourists may want to visit them. Over the last few weeks, we have been working hard as a year group to develop our team work skills in all aspects of school.

We’ve been researching healthy dips in DT. Today, we chopped, squashed, sprinkled, stirred, blended and tasted. The final reviews were great and lots said they’d like to make them again at home!
