Week 2 of art club and look what we’ve created!
Tonight our Year 6 football team competed in the Blaydon Cup competition held at Winlaton West Lane School. Front Street came away with gold medals and crowned over all winners! The team showed outstanding team work and sporting attitude throughout the competition and really did Front Street proud!

All schools in Gateshead were given an Angel to celebrate 25 years since the statue became part of our landscape. The children have been asked to take the Angel on adventures. Year 6 began constructing a rescue rover to be used by UNICEF in disaster zones like the one currently in Turkey. Today we made our chassis and began investigating wheel designs to enable the rover to cross bumpy terrain. watch this space for further updates.
Today a group of children went to Gateshead Leisure Centre to take part in the Gateshead SSP Boccia event. They showed great team work and hand eye coordination skills. Well done everyone!
