Year 6

What a fantastic start to our few days away with Y6. Group 3 thoroughly enjoyed their afternoon rock climbing and 1.7 mile walk back to the centre! We look forward to our day tomorrow!

Year Six marked the tremendous moment in history which was the Coronation of King Charles III, with some fantastic, pupil-lead enquiry.  The children came up with a range of topics to research and used their new-found, historical facts to produce their very own, brilliant information page all about

In addition to their SATs, Year Six have been busy with other tests this week.  Working in teams, the children have tested the all-terrain capabilities of three prototype designs. Like true designers, the children will use their findings to influence their own rescue rover designs.          

At last, the moment we have all been waiting for… Year Six have levelled up and are now officially Year Seven in waiting!  A sea of red jumpers and cardigans has now become a rainbow of colours.          Don’t they look great!

Year Six had a surprise treat after their last SAT paper.  Over lunchtime, Class 6W mysteriously transformed from a SAT test room into an ice-cream parlour .  Decorated with marshmallows, chocolate sprinkles, gummy sweets and lots and lots of ice-cream sauce, our sundaes were a real extravaganza!

Our amazing Year Sixes have breakfasted like royalty this week.  Oodles of chocolate spread on toast, heaps of jammy crumpets and lashings of cereal.  But the all-time favourite was the fruit banquet – especially the watermelon! What a lovely way to start each day… with food and friends and lots

The children have thoroughly enjoyed celebrating the upcoming Coronation of King Charles III. We have had Coin Competition winners, a special Coronation Lunch and a fabulous Crown Parade- in the sunshine.         Everyone looked amazing.
