We had some special visitors from the Fire Service, who came to help us learn about water safety. We now know how to keep safe near rivers, canals, lakes and at the beach. We also know what the different beach flags mean. Which flags do you know? Articles 6 & 17
A HUGE congratulations to our Year 5 and 6 gymnasts who competed at the County Finals on Friday. They all performed amazingly and came away as County gold medalists!🌟🥇
As part of our Geography unit on coasts, we have been comparing different coasts in the UK. This includes both physical and human features.
All of the girls from Y5 went to compete at The Glebe on Friday for the day, in the Gateshead SSP Girls Cricket competition. They all had a brilliant day, showed fantastic team work and improved on their cricket skills. Well done to you all!
Year 5 enjoyed the events today. The ice pops provided by FOFS were a welcome reward at the end!

Y5 attended a Striking and Fielding event at Whickham School . The Young Leaders organised a circuit of activities which helped to develop our throwing, catching , striking and fielding skills.
Did you know there is a city in the Amazon rainforest? Year 5 have been researching Manaus and comparing it to their own city life.
What an amazing day! The children from Year Six and the choir have love taking part in this year’s Angels of the North Concert. They sang. They danced. They ate lots of pizza! And, we are all extremely proud of them! Well done everyone!
KS2 had a fantastic time watching and participating in the Gateshead Music Workshop. There was singing, dancing, and plenty of opportunities to play interesting instruments. A great time was had by all!
