Year 5

Our visitors from Bikeability helped us learn how to be safe when we cycle. We started by working on the yard, then went out onto the roads of Whickham. Road safety is important but it was also lots of fun. Articles 29, 31

Today the school council joined Councillor Peter Craig and the volunteers of Planting up Whickham, to plant some of the flower boxes next to the church green and cenotaph. A huge congratulations to our Year 5 and 6 indoor athletics team who came first, winning gold medals today at the Gateshead SSP competition. They have secured their place in the Gateshead Finals next month!
