The next Sportsability event was held last week and our regular crew enjoyed an afternoon of games involving striking and hitting. Some amazing skills – rounders team soon!
We took 3 year 5 teams to The Glebe this week for the cricket tournament. We had a great full day of Kwik Cricket with 6 games, consisting of 4 overs, 8 bowls in each over. One of our teams came in third place bagging a super bronze medal!

What a day! 3miles walked around some of the most interesting and beautiful buildings in Newcastle focussed around design, innovation and the past, present and future. We explored innovation at the Old Post Office design studios, looked at the future of transport with The Hyperloop at The Ryder Coop

The children have been busy working on newspaper articles for the ‘Our School’ feature in The Chronicle. On Thursday 5th July Front Street will take centre spread showcasing the amazing talent across our school. A mad dash to the newsagents to get your copy on Thursday might be in order!

Remember these? The trundle wheels were out! We spent a maths lesson measuring perimeter and area of objects and surfaces around the yard. We used mm, cm and m and converted between them all when back in class.
