Today Year 5 enjoyed a year group basketball tournament with ten teams competiting for gold, silver and bronze. We played matches between our own class, then between classes to find our winners.
Our netball team had a challenge in their tournament recently. It was great to be able to take some new players too that we have seen show off their skills at school. A selection of wins, loses and draws meant for a tense afternoon.
The medals just keep coming, with our Sportsability team scooping silver this term. Invasion games was the theme this time and we invaded with great team spirit!
A full day of golf was enjoyed by teams from year 2 and 5. A successful sweep with year two getting SILVER and BRONZE and year 5 getting GOLD! #teamfrontstreet
We entered three teams in the girls’ cricket tournament, coming 4th, third and first! County Finals here we come! Well done girls!
In Science, Year 5 have been measuring our bones, and comparing them to Reception pupils’ bones. We used complex tables to record our results and made observations about what we found.
Using a new type of liquid lead paint, art club made super tiles. Thank you so much to CTD in the Team Valley for donating the tiles!
