How was Stonehenge built? How did they get the stones to balance. In Design Technology the children were exploring how to make structures taller, stronger and more stable using different techniques. It involved great collaboration!   Article 29,15

We created a lovely background for our Stonehenge paintings using blue, black and white. We thought about hues, shades and tones.  

This half term, year 4 have been developing their speed and stamina working with a coach on basketball skills.  They have been dribbling, shooting and passing, focusing on different levels. They have also developed their skills of working in a team. Article 24/29

The rain didn’t stop us looking for mini beasts as part of our Science topic on classification! We found a range of bugs.  

Today it was our Harvest Festival and what an amazing show it was! Each year group performed a special Harvest song and year 2 reminded us all what Harvest was. Father Barry came too he has taken our food donations to places that need them most.  Ask your child what song they sang! Article 6 – the
