Front Street Rotakids helped out at ‘Santa at the Hermitage’ today.  They did very well at meeting and greeting the visitors and helped out on the raffle for the Christmas hamper. Lots of familiar faces came to visit.  The Rotakids had lots of fun and did Front Street proud-well done to them all.

Article 24,29 Year 4 took part in a fitness festival at Whickham Comprehensive. Their young leaders planned and delivered a range of activities promoting speed, agility and stamina. We were lucky enough to learn new information about Northern Saints at Durham Cathedral. After a blustery snowy walk, we  took part in lots of activities! Article 14

Article 10, 20,22 After discussing Paddington and the reasons he left Peru, the children generated questions to ask a refugee showing real empathy. We also discussed what were the most important things to take with us if we were a refugee.

Last week was ‘Anti bullying week’.  Each year group listened to lyrics of popular songs they knew and then made up their own song about anti bullying and being a good friend. This was Year 4’s song Article 12, 13, 14 IMG_5328
