Barney the therapy dog came into school today. Some lucky children got to read to him, which he loves. It was great having him here today and hopefully more and more children can enjoy special time with him over the coming weeks.  

Key Stage 2 had an inspiring visit from the author Steve Webb and illustrator Chris Mould. They shared their passion of writing and drawing with the children. I am sure there are some budding authors and illustrators in our school that will follow in their footsteps!  

We were engrossed in the movie this week….’Honey I Blew Up The Kid.’

Yet again the dinner staff have wowed us with the amazing display for Children in Need 2017! (Article 1-42)

4H also took part in a Science workshop to kick start our new topic on Solids, Liquids and Gases. We learned about the differences and how to draw particle models to show this. We then made predictions about which would melt the quickest then tested. Article 3,28
