Our amazing French ambassadors came to visit Year 1 and Year 2 to teach them some French songs! They all did a fantastic job and the KS1 children had great fun!

Year One have had lots of fun at their Christmas party. They wish you all a very Merry Christmas.

This morning, the whole school came together for a special assembly to celebrate the start of the Christmas season. The highlight of the morning was the grand switching on of the Christmas tree lights.  

Recently in Year 1, we used our amazing maths knowledge to construct numbers with a value up to 100. The children loved this! Article: 28

Sarah from Kidslingo French Tyne West is starting her French club again for Ks1 children. She came in today to show the children some fun activities she will be doing with them!

During half term, ten of our budding gardeners helped the volunteer group ‘Planting up Whickham’ plant winter flowers around St Mary’s Green and the shopping area. The organisers were super impressed with the children’s efforts, manners, attitudes and willingness to help. Well done everyone!
