We have had a lovely morning celebrating our Harvest Festival. The donations looked amazing and took centre stage. The year one children told us all some facts about Harvest and each year group raised the roof with an amazing Harvest song. Father Barry came to see us too which was a lovely surprise.

Finally the time came to make their fruit salads!!! Sharp knives, cutting boards, clean hands, cut, peel, chop, slice…. Everyone tried their fruit salad – even those who said they didn’t like fruit – and straight away the children started to discuss what they liked, what they would change etc. A

We enjoyed putting up our Christmas tree and advent Calendar up in our classroom this week, we are getting very excited! The countdown in on!

After lots of careful planning, today we made out delicious deserts. The children followed their plan and used the equipment really well. Then the real test was the taste test, the smiles say it all.
