This morning early years had a lovely treat watching Gateshead Music Team perform different music and stories using nursery rhymes. Today it was our Harvest Festival and what an amazing show it was! Each year group performed a special Harvest song and year 2 reminded us all what Harvest was. Father Barry came too he has taken our food donations to places that need them most. Ask your child what song they sang! Article 6 – the

Today we made pumpkin and vegetable soup. We cut up and added carrots, potatoes and onions. We talked about being sensible with knives to keep ourselves safe. Most of us tried the soup and a lot of us liked it. Well done everyone! Article 28
We have been so busy so far this week! We are enjoying making sensory, sound and maths potions, wands, spiders and much more! We have enjoyed balancing on the web outside to find numbers and even mad our own web using wool. article 28

We have enjoyed ourselves outdoors this afternoon! We covered physical, imaginative, social, mathematical and language skills all at the same time.
We have had a fabulous time in our ‘Mud Kitchen’ today. Everyone will get the chance to go in over the next few days as long as the weather holds. Article 31 Some of us enjoyed the warmth of indoors!
