What a great time we are having using a puppet theatre, kindly donated by one of the children. Thank you!  

We have stated working with Creative Dance on a Wednesday morning. we have been using our bodies to move in different ways. We even pretended to be dinosaurs! Some of the children did really well getting their shoes on and off.  Article 28 – Good quality education

We have had a very busy week in nursery and we’re all ready for our holiday.  We would like to say thank you for your continued support and wish you all a very merry Christmas and happy new year from us all!

This afternoon the whole school walked along to St. Mary’s church for our annual Christmas Carol service. We heard children read and we all sang carols. If you would like to watch the service check out the link on Front Streets Facebook page. Merry Christmas!

We visited the Northern Stage. The show was simply beautiful and the children were spellbound by the baby penguin. We were very proud of the children as they were so sensible and well behaved. Thank you to all of the helpers who came with us. Article 28

Some of the nursery children stayed for Christmas dinner on Thursday. They really enjoyed it and did really well using their knives and forks. Well done!

The children couldn’t believe their eyes when it started to snow…they were so excited! They wrapped up warm and headed out for some fun.  Its was a bit scary sliding down the bank but it was such fun.  Once we were back inside we made our own snowy paintings.

Great fun was had at our school fair.  As well as all the activities some of us had our faces painted with festive designs. Mrs Croft had some amazing helpers from Whickham Comp during the morning…Roberta, Olivia and Neve were fantastic.  During the afternoon Mrs Robson, Miss Routledge and Esthe
