Nursery

We had a lovely afternoon learning about the Police. We tried on the uniform, got into the van and met some of the Police Dogs. Some of us really want to be Police Officers when we grow up!Articles 17, 19, 40  

We have enjoyed welcoming the ants into our Nursery. We have worked together to make their home. We need to feed them and give them water to keep them healthy and alive. It is very interesting to watch them go about their business! Article 28.

We really enjoyed spending time outside today. Lots of fun was had squirting each other! It was a great way to exercise our hand and arm muscles.  

Today we learnt about nutritional food. We had a picnic and tried some healthy food. We know that nutritious food helps us to grow and be strong.We also talked about how some children in the world are not lucky enough to have nutritious food. We were proud to be part of trying to make a difference w

We absolutely loved it when the chicks came to visit us. They were so soft and we really enjoyed holding them. It was so interesting seeing the eggs they had hatched out of. We counted them and talked about their colours. The brown ones were girls and the yellow ones were the boys.

We had a fantastic time at Whitehouse Farm. We fed the lambs and lots of other animals. We held rabbits, a bearded dragon, mice and even had a tarantula on our heads! We had a great time.

In the afternoon we planted and watered some new plants. We also enjoyed the sunshine and attempted some shadow art! It was so nice to have some sun! Don’t forget sun hats if the weather stays nice!

We worked hard today digging holes and  planting herbs. We loved smelling the lavender and the rosemary. r and the rosemary.

After reading, ‘Hooray For Fish’, lots of us painted our own fish to go up in our water area. We had to concentrate really hard! Some of us then had a go at using the stapler to make our own jellyfish. We have hung them up and they look great! The children have also been counting bubbles onto pictur
