We have enjoyed learning about Chinese New Year. We have made hand print dragons, played in our Chinese restaurant, made fans and firework pictures. We also made a large dragon for our dragon march when we joined Reception on Wednesday. The dragon march on Friday 3rd is having to be moved to 3pm rat

We have been so excited by the eggs in Nursery that we have decided to make some of our own. We made some out of playdough and we made some with balloons and papier mache. We can’t wait to bring them home and see what kind of dinosaur is inside!

We just had to celebrate the effort made by Zac and Blake and their parents this week. It was great to see that they had made their own igloos for the ‘i’ table! We were amazed! Well done and thank you!

We have been looking and listening closely to the eggs this afternoon. The children are convinced they have heard something pecking and scratching inside! We have done some looking through magnifying glasses and more counting.

We had a lovely time experiencing the cold, snowy weather. We loved sledging and making marks in the snow. Then we all came in and had some hot chocolate to warm up. What a great day.

An envelope arrived at school addressed to the Nursery children. Inside were some brightly coloured eggs. We have been asked to look after them for the Museum! We talked about what could be inside and used the internet to look at the different creatures that hatch out of eggs. We counted them and s
