We have been Squiggling and Wiggling! We have made circles with our arms as we have danced and then made circles in foam and with chalk. It’s all to help with our gross motor development and supports our pre-writing skills. (Plus it’s a lot of fun!)
We have been enjoying playing with coloured ice in the water tray. It was fun watching the colours mix together as the ice melted.
Today we talked about ‘Children in need’. We thought about children who are poorly or have no money for nice homes or food. We brought money in to be collected for others who need it more. We loved having our faces painted and making Pudsey crafts.
We are strengthening our hand muscles ready for writing by taking part in ‘Dough Disco!’ Funky disco music makes it so much fun!
We have had fun making a new web for the spider. We had to weave in and out, over and under. It was tricky but we did a good job!
We had a lovely day today making spells and pumpkin volcanoes.
We have been serving ourselves milk and water at our snack table. There have only been a couple of spillages!
Today we helped to plant some plants in our outdoor area. There is now an apple tree, a plum tree, some strawberry plants and lots of herbs. We also added plants to create a hedge next to our sensory path.
