As part of our Topic, ‘Thinking Big’ we have been talking about dinosaurs. We have made a Dinosaur Dig area in the Nursery. We have been counting, using our imaginations, testing our physical skills and much, much more!

We made our very own erupting volcanoes today. The children loved watching the ‘lava’ bubble down the sides and pool at the bottom. It was very exciting and the children loved playing with it and the dinosaurs.

We have been enjoying using the new small bricks to build with. It required lots of team work and it was great fun.
What else can you do when the weather is so windy? We had lots of fun making and flying our kites.
Our party thrills started off with lots of party dances and games followed by delicious party treats. We were so excited when Santa Claus stopped off on his way to the North Pole with some early presents for us. We had so much fun!
Our party got off to a thrilling start with a visit from Santa Claus! He stopped off on his way to the North Pole with some early presents for us. The thrills continued with our party dances and games followed by delicious party treats. We had so much fun!
We have had a great few days playing in Santa’s Grotto. We wrapped the toys, filled the sleigh and the reindeer took us up into the sky to deliver them! We have made Christmas crafts and a lot of mess! It has been great fun!
The children loved hearing the story of Stickman. Thank you to all of the parents who were able to come in and help. We painted with sticks, made flags, stickmen, wands, decorations and had a lovely time!
We had great fun today painting our feet. The brushes were so tickly and the paint was cold.
Last week some of the children were asking about the birds so we decided to make some seed balls to hang in our yard. We had to push, squeeze and manipulate the mixture into round ball shapes. We hope the birds like them! (Some of us took photos on the ipad ourselves!)
