We have been enjoying some Easter fun in Nursery. We have been making homes for Easter chicks, making chocolate nests, making Easter cards and colouring in Easter pictures. We made ourselves some bunny ears and even had a visit from the Easter Bunny! We loved counting all of the eggs that he left.
The children in Nursery have been trying to solve the mystery of the gingerbread crumbs found in the yard this morning. We all had such fun today taking selfies to make us laugh for Red Nose Day. We thought about all of those people who aren’t as fortunate as us and we talked about the ‘Rights’ we have. We have the right to have a name, a h ome, drink clean water,eat food and be safe.
We loved celebrating the Holi festival on Monday. Instead of throwing colours at each other we thought of different ways to play with colour. We sprayed colour into the water, had our faces painted in different colours, popped paint balloons and lots more. It was lots of fun.

We have been sharing the story of Goldilocks and the Three Bears in nursery this week. We have been looking at big, medium and small size language. We have enjoyed role play both inside and out and we have pretended to make porridge at the playdough table and experimented with mixing in oats.
Our resident giant asked for a pizza so we made him one! We also made some for ourselves.
