Year 3

We have been thoroughly enjoying our dodgeball lessons in year 3 learning new skills and playing safely.

Front Street took part in the Remembrance Parade through Whickham. Thank you to everyone who came.

We have had a lovely morning celebrating our Harvest Festival. The donations looked amazing and took centre stage. The year one children told us all some facts about Harvest and each year group raised the roof with an amazing Harvest song. Father Barry came to see us too which was a lovely surprise.

I am looking forward to working with these children this year. They are proudly wearing their badges.

Year three have been learning how to measure forces with Newton meters this week. We asked the question, ‘which surface does the weight slide along easiest?’ We put our data into a table and bar chart.

Today, we started our DT project, Dips and Dippers. We have been set the challenge to design and create a healthy cinema dip. We started with some taste research to see which dips we liked and didn’t like. See if you can tell from our facial expressions which were our favourite. Article 24, 12, 13
