We loved Mrs O’Neill’s World Book Day challenge to mash up two popular books and create a new front cover and blurb. Take a look at what we created. We also enjoyed the theme of ‘You Choose’ for our outfits.

Today in science, year 3 started their new topic of plants. The children began by exploring some potted plants, made their own vocabulary cards to label the plant’s parts and then set up an experiment to see what conditions seeds need to grow.

Today was the first day of Year 3 and 4 Yoga Club. The children started by learning a sun salutation, learnt 4 new yoga poses (mountain, chair, tree and rainbow) and ended with Savasna, a time for relaxation. We were ready to start our school day, with a clear and calm mind. Namaste.
