The children have enjoyed investigating how to make a shadow and then how to make it grow!!! The best bit was exploring their own shadows…thank you sunshine for coming out😀 Article, 29,31

In science, the children have been learning about light and dark. This week we looked at how shadows are made and had fun making our own in class with torches and then outside in the sunshine! We even made pictures drawing around our finger shadow! We had so much fun! Article 29, 31 

A group of ten children from year 1, attended the Gateshead School Sports Partnership Disney themed sporting event this morning at Gateshead Leisure Centre. Today Arvin has been explaining how today is the Persian New Year when they celebrate the coming of Spring. We had a great tennis lesson with Jonathan the Coach this afternoon. We practised our ready position and catching to the side using cones which was a new move and very tricky!!! Article 28,29,31
