Today seven children represented Front Street in the Gateshead SSP Panathlon competition! After completing every station the team were announced as overall winners, receiving the gold medals and the winners trophy! The team have also qualified for the County Finals which will be held next month!
What What a fantastic day we had taking part in ‘Sportsability’ at Gateshead Leisure Centre. We all developed our skills in throwing, catching, batting, volley ball and were using our listening skills when blindfolded!
Y1 visited Whickham School today to take part with other Primary schools in Whickham. It was a very wet and soggy walk there and back but children loved taking part and seeing the smiles on their faces made it all worthwhile. We have some VERY competitive children 😱😱😱 Article 28,29,31
The children have thoroughly enjoyed celebrating the upcoming Coronation of King Charles III. We have had Coin Competition winners, a special Coronation Lunch and a fabulous Crown Parade- in the sunshine. Everyone looked amazing.

In gymnastics the children were busy putting together their balance, their shapes and then the gymnastic finish…lots of concentration required!!! Article 28,29,31
Phonics definitely had a touch of class this morning! The crowns looked amazing and the children read like royalty 😊👑 Article 13, 28, 29
