Reception had an amazing time at Mr Twister’s soft play for their end of year treat today! A huge thank you to Friends of Front Street for funding this treat for us.

After some mysterious wool turned up in school, we all were invited to a special assembly to find out why! It was Shaun the Sheep! The children whose designs were chosen and then combined to create our school’s Shaun, then helped the Arts Ambassadors to paint him over the next couple of weeks. We

This afternoon all of Reception went to Whickham School to take part in the Early Years festival. They took part in different races with a focus on team work!

This morning we enjoyed a music workshop provided by Gateshead Music Service! We listened and joined in to songs from around the world.

In Reception we love books! We love reading them, we love listening to them and we love learning from them. We love them so much that some of us decided to take matters into our own hands and become authors and illustrators by creating our own stories during our independent play. Articles 28, 31.
