During our parent sharing assembly, we designed  bug hotels –  habitats which would encourage a range of minibeasts to move into our school grounds. Article 29.13

The children have been busy working on newspaper articles for the ‘Our School’ feature in The Chronicle. On Thursday 5th July Front Street will take centre spread showcasing the amazing talent across our school. A mad dash to the newsagents to get your copy on Thursday might be in order!  

Well done to everyone from Nursery who represented the school so well today when visiting The Manor House in Whickham. We played games, sang songs and even had a biscuit and drink as a little treat at the end! The residents loved our visit. Thank you to all of the helpers who were a brilliant help!

It was Year 3’s turn for Family Learning this half term and they enjoyed a fun morning making some Egyptian objects.

Yesterday, Year 1 went up to the local church to learn all about baptism. The children practised baptising a sheep which the children named Jake Archie Fluffy. The children loved it when Miss Gilderoy practised baptising Father Barry (Article 28).
