What a great treat everyone had at Front Street this morning!
The Mayor of Gateshead came to our assembly to listen to our Rota Kids talk about their job roles and what they have been doing in the community. The children were presented with a rota badge and wristband which they will wear around school. The whole school then listened to the Mayor talk about how important their job is and watched her present the Rota Kids with a special award for the work they are doing.
We then finished off the assembly by singing two songs to the Mayor and Rotary group.
