Here are some pictures from t sponsored hop on Friday. It was impossible to photograph each child but I am sure you will agree these pictures show the children having lots of fun in the spring sunshine.    

  We had a fabulous word parade sharing the talents of our parents and children with their ingenious ways of representing words. The children looked amazing. Thank you for your effort. 🙂  

Year 4 went to visit Spetchells in Prudhoe as part of a project with The Land of Oak and Iron. A freezing but fun day was had by all.  

Every Tuesday our toddlers get together for some fun playtime.

We were very excited to find out who our Mystery Readers were today! Article 28,13,17,18

We spent a long time designing and practising our Anglo Saxon board games so we could teach our parents during our Sharing Assembly. We spent a long time adding our Anglo Saxon art using Celtic Cross influences and knot art.

This morning, the children in year two became the teachers and taught their parents how we do maths at school: counting in tens, representing numbers, place value, understanding the bar model and Times Table Rockstars! What a busy morning we had  I   !

Reception have celebrated the end of their Super Me topic today! Everyone dresssed up as their superhero for our sharing assembly. We made capes, masks and necklaces with our grown up and sang our superhero songs. We have swapped our books with friends for the book swap day and had a special tuck sh

On Tuesday Maria and Chrissy from the library came to visit Reception. They read us a story about little monkey and gave us our book start packs.  We also got our photo taken with a huge monkey! It was lots of fun. Article 17  

We have enjoyed our mystery reader sessions on a Friday, we look forward to seeing who comes next. Article 1 and 3
