Our Year 5 and 6 athletics team competed against the top 10 schools out of the 5 counties yesterday at South Shields. Front Street came 6th over all AND still remain the top school in Gateshead! 🌟 A HUGE well done to everyone who represented #teamfrontstreet

Every year, we take part in the Spoors Church Christmas tree festival. This year, our Nursery children (helped by the Art ambassadors) made special decorations, and our RE ambassadors made some too. The RE ambassadors visited the church to decorate the tree, and were given books about the Christmas

This morning, the whole school came together for a special assembly to celebrate the start of the Christmas season. The highlight of the morning was the grand switching on of the Christmas tree lights.

Today our Year 5 and 6 athletics team have been announced as the over all winners at the Gateshead SSP indoor athletics finals today! They proudly came away with gold medals, the champions trophy and a place in the County Finals!
This morning KS2 thoroughly enjoyed Gateshead Musics workshop. They sang songs, played instruments and got right into the Christmas spirit!
