Barney the therapy dog came into school today. Some lucky children got to read to him, which he loves. It was great having him here today and hopefully more and more children can enjoy special time with him over the coming weeks.
Key Stage 2 had an inspiring visit from the author Steve Webb and illustrator Chris Mould. They shared their passion of writing and drawing with the children. I am sure there are some budding authors and illustrators in our school that will follow in their footsteps!
P.E. is changing…….. Our lessons start with cardio-HIIT (high intensity interval training) each week and today we completed yard-sprints for ten minutes. This is part of the Government 60minutes a day targets plus the aim to raise the awareness that children have of their own fitness levels. A

Today it was our Harvest Festival and what an amazing show it was! Each year group performed a special Harvest song and year 2 reminded us all what Harvest was. Father Barry came too he has taken our food donations to places that need them most. Ask your child what song they sang! Article 6 – the
