This term, Year 5 have been making a phone case. They evaluated current cases on the market and explored a range of fastenings before designing and making their own cases. Thanks to the support of parents at the workshop , we threaded 60 needles in no time!

How are coasts changing? In Geography, we have been learning about the physical features of coasts and how they are formed. Today, we visited Marsden Bay to carry out some Geographical fieldwork. We did field sketches, measured pebbles for evidence of erosion and identified land use in the area.

This week, the parents were invited in to our yoga session. The year 5 buddies explained to them the benefits of yoga and the children completed a yoga routine and took part in some yoga games with their parents.
