Children from year 3 and year 4 visited Gateshead Stadium today to take part in Gateshead SSP Top Sports. They got to try out many different sports such as curling, boccia and goal ball, and had a whole lot of fun!

During half term, ten of our budding gardeners helped the volunteer group ‘Planting up Whickham’ plant winter flowers around St Mary’s Green and the shopping area. The organisers were super impressed with the children’s efforts, manners, attitudes and willingness to help. Well done everyone!
