Year 4

Year 4 went on a local walk yesterday using their knowledge of map symbols to spot familiar places that would be identified on a map.

Year 4 certainly had the ‘book buzz’ today! We enjoyed hearing about favourite books and inspirational characters. 📚

Year 4 ordered the journey of coal from the North East to London.

Year 4 are learning about the features of newspaper articles so that they can eventually write their own.

Today, our Year 3 and 4 hockey team competed in the Gateshead SSP tournament at Whickham School. Front Street were proud to be the runners up: most of the team had never played hockey before training sessions!! Fantastic! Congratulations to you all. Your team work was outstanding! 🌟 #teamfrontstr
