Year 4

KS2 had a fantastic time watching and participating in the Gateshead Music Workshop. There was singing, dancing, and plenty of opportunities to play interesting instruments. A great time was had by all!

Year 3 and 4 completed their sponsored bunny hop this morning in the spring sunshine. article: 31

Year 4 have used their practical DT skills to make the axle for their car. They had to measure, mark and saw a piece of dowel.

Year 4 combined their art skills in a joint activity that required memory and sketching skills. We have some talented parents as well as children!

We had a visitor from Lifevineyard Church this week. Geoff explained the importance of charity and how we can all help others who do not have as much. He shared his love for music and taught the children some songs. article: 24, 26, 28  

Year 4 were taught some French vocabulary by Year 9 students from Whickham Comprehensive. article: 28

Year 4 explored different textures in their art lesson.
