As ever, our kitchen team have excelled themselves with their creativity for World Book Day lunch.

In year 2, we’ve been learning about insects and working hard to design a new insect. It had to have three body parts, wings, 6 legs and antennae. We’ve sent our designs to the intu competition linked to the big bugs on tour exhibition. Watch this space to find out how we get on…

Our dinner staff have wowed us again with a special valentines menu! All of the children loved their dinner!!

Year 2 are practising the skills needed to play volleyball. Controlling the ball is key and we have been working on a lot of ball control skills in PE! We are definitely improving.  

Our very own Reading Champions have reviewed these new books which are now available to read in our library.      

Our Reading Champiosns visited Waterstones in the Metro Centre yesterday to meet Liam, the Children’s  book expert. He was very impressed with their book reviews and was keen to hear their thoughts about the books they had read. Then he helped them to choose a new book. It was a lovely visit and

Today we conducted our own experiment! We tested the ground around school to see what was healthier-the field or planters. The healthier the ground the more worms you should find. As us what we found out.
