Today we were lucky enough to have the chicks in our nursery. We talked about caring for them, being careful and loved holding them. We then followed instructions on how to draw our own cartoon chicks and worked really hard. We also counted how many female chicks there were and how many male chicks

Today the geography ambassadors met and had a competition. We used the OS maps to race against each other to find different things on the map. We also read grid references, the older children helped the younger children with this. We finished off by finding the craziest name of a place. You will be

Today we had a visit from the music team for an amazing ‘through the years with music’. We thoroughly enjoyed it as you can see from these pictures.
What a busy time we have had getting ready to celebrate the Queen’s Platinum Jubilee! We have made our own bunting, t-shirts and crowns. It was lovely to celebrate with the ready of the school on Friday afternoon!
