Front Street Rotakids helped out at ‘Santa at the Hermitage’ today. They did very well at meeting and greeting the visitors and helped out on the raffle for the Christmas hamper. Lots of familiar faces came to visit. The Rotakids had lots of fun and did Front Street proud-well done to them all.
Year 6 have had rugby and hockey coaching this term. Here they are completing a variety of drills and skills and some class games. Passing, turning and defending skills were built on to improve their game and speed skills.
Barney the therapy dog came into school today. Some lucky children got to read to him, which he loves. It was great having him here today and hopefully more and more children can enjoy special time with him over the coming weeks.
Key Stage 2 had an inspiring visit from the author Steve Webb and illustrator Chris Mould. They shared their passion of writing and drawing with the children. I am sure there are some budding authors and illustrators in our school that will follow in their footsteps!
