This morning the whole school walked to St. Mary’s Church for our Easter service. We all joined in singing Easter songs… thank you to Mrs Marshall, Mrs Smith and all of Year Two who provided us with the story of Easter and musical instruments during the songs! Article 28, 29 and article 30
Yesterday our Boccia team enjoyed their morning competing at the county finals! They came second in their league, well done to you all! Article 28 and 29
On Friday we had a great afternoon playing Rugby with Alex at RUFC. It was windy but sunny, we had a super time putting our rugby skills to use. Article 24, 31.
This term, Year Four have been learning rugby skills with Alex, a coach from Ryton Rugby Club. Today, we were invited to the club for an outdoor training session (hence the muddy trainers!) where we were able to use our skills on the pitch. Article 29
After a Science unit on electricity and making switches, the children were involved in designing and making a buzzer wire game to help younger children develop their motor skills. They had to apply their science knowledge as well as think about design criteria. Article 29

In RE we have been using drama techniques to learn about the events of the Last Supper. We recreated Da Vinci’s painting using a freeze frame technique. Can you spot the betrayer? Article 30
