Meet our amazing Little Inventor of the North. Grace in Year 4 took part in the 2030 Challenge where she had her invention built by The Little Inventors. Today, YoYo and Grace, visitors from China, came to work with us in our class. They taught us some Mandarin words and how to hold a pen properly! We talked about what the symbols of the Chinese dragon meant. We even traced taking real care, a Chinese dragon! Article 30
Year 4 enjoyed the intra school competition . They worked really well in teams to compete for gold, silver and bronze awards. Article 31
The medals just keep coming, with our Sportsability team scooping silver this term. Invasion games was the theme this time and we invaded with great team spirit!

We designed feather patterns and looked at colour families for the background. You will be able to view all the work in the gallery next week
We embossed foil with Roman patterns, made clay heads, marched in formations, built a roof, wove some willow, made herbal medicine and bandaged the injured!! All in a days work for Romans and Celts.
We have been really lucky to team up with South Street Primary School for French. We have new pen pals in year 4 and today we received our letters! We were really excited about reading them.
