Year 2 have been learning how to find the difference between two numbers. article: 28

During the summer holidays, our school RRSA mascots, Danny and Daisy, visited the war graves of Polygon Wood, Ypres in Belgium with Mrs Short and her family. They visited the grave of Mrs Short’s Grandad’s cousin who was sadly killed on the first day of the battle of Polygon Wood in September 19

Year 2 have designed a raft that they will test to see how waterproof it is and how well it floats. These will be tested some time next week….when the results will be shared!

Today the school council joined Councillor Peter Craig and the volunteers of Planting up Whickham, to plant some of the flower boxes next to the church green and cenotaph.
