Year 2

Today we were very lucky as Mr Gluck came in to visit us to tell us all about Hanukkah. We listened to the story of how Hanukkah became part of Jewish traditions, and we played a dreidel game with sweets!

Year 1 and Year 2 has a fantastic time at their party this afternoon! Games, dancing, food  and gorgeous outfits!

In geography Year 2 drew their own maps of their local area and added the key features they had seen on their local walk.

Today Year 2 enjoyed a delicious Christmas lunch thanks to our dinner staff!

In PSHE Year 2 have been talking about their friends and what makes a good one.

Every year, we take part in the Spoors Church Christmas tree festival. This year, our Nursery children (helped by the Art ambassadors) made special decorations, and our RE ambassadors made some too. The RE ambassadors visited the church to decorate the tree, and were given books about the Christmas

Year 2 children love improving their maths skills by using Maths Whizz daily.

This morning, the whole school came together for a special assembly to celebrate the start of the Christmas season. The highlight of the morning was the grand switching on of the Christmas tree lights.
