In science today we learn about how we measure wind : speed and direction. The children have made a wind sock that they can place outside and see if the wind changes directions.

Today we are weather watchers! We have made rain gauges and have positioned them around school so we can measure how much rain has fallen. (We really needed these out ready for all the rain that has fallen this morning!) Article 28, 29

During our science unit all about seasons we have been learning about different types of weather. Today we have made rain gauges and they are in place ready to measure the rainfall this week. I wonder how many cms rain fall we will have this week?
