Yesterday a group of children from our School Council went to Caedmon School to talk to other children from different school council groups. They have came back to school with lots of exciting ideas that will now be discussed in school and implemented at Front Street.
Reception have welcomed ten new chicks into Reception over the past two weeks. They have cared for them, fed them, played with them and cleaned the brooder box out for them. Parents have been coming to sessions in Reception to handle the chicks with their children and to learn about the chicks. The
Reception are having an egg-citing time with the hatching programme! The children have looked after the eggs egg-Tremely well and managed to hatch all 10 eggs, that’s 100% !!! The children have learnt that the brown chicks usually to grow into hens and the yellow chicks usually grow into cockerels
