We had an afternoon learning all about University life at Newcastle Uni and the different things the children can study, clubs to join and facilities to use whilst at University.  It was fascinating to hear about all the different subjects and degrees and what all the amazing new buildings are for.


Today we said a very emotional goodbye to Miss Monica and Miss Wang.  Miss Monica has been with us for two weeks and we’ve really enjoyed learning Chinese and maths and getting to know her. We have had lots of observers in our class and the children have been outstanding! To finish today she spen


On Friday we were lucky enough to have a visit from Nissan. They brought with them the Leaf electric car. We were able to hear it when it was started and compare it to other cars we have been in. We learnt about the impact the Leaf car has on the environment compared to non electric cars.


As part of RRSA the children took part on an OutRight activity focusing on air pollution Article 24 The right to clean  air


We took part in Outright today along with the whole school.  Outright is an RRSA campaign to speak out about children’s rights.  This year the theme was air pollution, every child has the right to be healthy-this includes having clean air. Article 24 In Reception we learnt about what air is and
