Nursery

Today we had a lovely visit from Maria the librarian. She told us one of her favourite stories and gifted us some Bookstart books to take home. Thank you! Article 28

We had a great day celebrating VE Day today. Well done Nursery! Article 29

Today was an exciting day! Anita the farmer brought three of her lambs to nursery. We loved feeding them and learning about them. Susie and Candy are only 1and a half weeks old and Rebecca is 2 weeks old. Anita then came back and we asked her questions about her farm and what she does on the farm. I

The nursery children have really enjoyed making their own artwork inspired by Kazimir Malevich. We loved looking at the different shapes and sizes in his work. We then chose the shapes we wanted in our own artwork. It was so exciting seeing them all on display in the hall. Article 28,29

The chicks came to visit nursery this week! Article 29

Nursery have been learning about the artwork of Jackson Pollock. We then had a go at his ‘drip style’ of painting. The cleaning up was fun too! Article 27, 28, 31

How many of our shoes can we fit in a dinosaur’s footprint? Cue lots of size language, comparisons  and counting! Article 28

Nursery made their own volcano and then we made it erupt! It was so much fun! Article 28

We went on a hunt around the nursery looking for signs of spring. We used the iPad to take photos to record what we found. Article 28
