What is inside a white pumpkin? The children investigated! We found lots of seeds and decided to make our own magic pumpkin soup within our play. We also used a big, medium and small orange pumpkins. We painted and washed them lots and lots of times!
The children have loved finding out about Autumn and have looked at lots of different leaves. We decided to use the colours we have seen to paint with outside this week. We also made some mud paint with mud and water to paint with. Then we even painted conkers and tyres with the mud paint and rolled
We have loved working hard, strengthening our muscles this week. Well done Nursery!

The new nursery children have really enjoyed meeting their new friends and settling in to their new environment. What a great start to the year!
What a fun way to start the week! I think some of us might have the skills to be able to run away to join the circus! Thank you FOFS and parents and carers for your generous donations.
Nursery have been finding out what has grown. Our potato crop was lots of fun to dig up. We made an excellent courgette cake! Yummy! We visited the school allotment to see what else the school is growing too.
Today four chrysalides opened and four beautiful Painted Lady Butterflies emerged! The children were very excited!
Today was such a sunny day we decided to investigate shadows using coloured shapes and then made a cellophane den! It was lovely sitting in all of the coloured shadows! We made some smaller colour catchers onside to take home and put on our windows.
What an excellently fun way to do some mark making! Everyone loved it! Article 28
