Nursery had a yummy Christmas lunch today, we all enjoyed listening to the Christmas music in the hall and pulling crackers with our friends. Article 27 and 28.
Front Street are now in full Christmas swing! We have all enjoyed our Christmas music workshop this morning, provided by Gateshead Music Service. We have listened to Christmas songs, played musical instruments and sang songs! Article 29
This year as a school we decided to support ‘Cash for Kids: Mission Christmas’. This is a charity that aims to provide a gift for every child to wake up to on Christmas morning. We appealed for your support by asking you to bring in a gift to donate to this worthy cause, and we are astounded by
Nursery loved taking part in the Santa sack race this morning! We listened to Christmas music and all wore Santa hats. We cheered our friends on and all took turns in the Santa sacks! Thank you to Friends of Front Street for organising this event and to everyone who sponsored the children.
Nursery have loved investigating the snow. We have used it to mark make, dig and brush with our tools. We worked together to fill the wheelbarrow and bring some inside to see what happened to it in our warm classroom. Lots of us then chose to paint some snowy pictures using brushes and sponge tools.
Today we went to The Manor House in Whickham to sing some nursery songs and Christmas songs to the residents. The children were BRILLIANT! The residents were very impressed! Well done nursery! Article 28, 29
Well, it’s December 1st and Christmas has arrived in the nursery! The elves have been getting busy in their workshop. They have been wrapping, weighing and labelling the gifts ready to go on Santa’s sleigh. Article 28, 31
Oh yes she did!! What an afternoon we had, the Christmas season has begun and we are all so excited.
Yesterday was all about England and they did not disappoint. What a match. Look at our happy faces enjoying our special puddings.
