We have worked very hard towards  this national award for our Geography work (PGQM).  We applied for the bronze award but got awarded silver as they were so impressed with us all. We even made it into their monthly magazine. This is excellent recognition for all of our hard work across the full cu

Year 4 tested their knowledge whilst at the same time trialling some new resources. They were so quick to create circuits and loved being able to make the motors work.  

A coach from the Eagles came in today to give us our first basketball lesson, super speed, excellent throwing and dribbling topped with amazing shooting!  

4O’N used a variety of DT skills today to produce some very tasty sandwiches. They cut, chopped, sliced and grated and the end result looked like this…  

Our mental well-being is important and the books we read this afternoon encouraged lots of discussion about emotions  and why it is important to share our feelings.  

Well done to our #TEAMFRONTSTREET Triathlon, circuit 1 winners. All children have shown lots of agility, balance, co-ordination and determination!

4O’N enjoyed their virtual workshop with Fran from the Discovery Museum. They learnt about the feud between Joseph Swan and Thomas Edison and made their own LED torch.  

The final part of our electricity topic! We made a switch to break the energy in our circuit making the bulb turn on and off.

Electrical circuits, making a bulb light, connecting wires and creating power! It’s all happening in year 4!
