Year 3

Year three had a wonderful Christmas dinner today courtesy of our amazing cooks! Thank you!

We loved our visit from the year 2 and year 5 reading ambassadors this afternoon. They read us a Christmas story sat by the Christmas tree. It was amazing!  

Our ‘Book Swap’ morning was enjoyed by everyone.  

Year 3’s big question in geography this week was ‘why do people visit the North East?’ To find out the answer, the children took a virtual tour of the North East and used the OS map to find the locations.

Year 3 had a great time at the Christmas fair on Friday. Thanks Friends of Front Street!

In geography this term, Year 3 have been learning about the Mediterranean. As part of the unit, the children have learnt the difference between weather and climate and explored some different houses all over the world to help answer the question ‘are houses built differently to suit different clim

Our Year 3 children have thoroughly enjoyed creating storyboards and Stop Frame animations. Some budding Directors and Producers in  the making!!!    

On World Kindness Day, we enjoyed class assemblies from our mental health ambassadors. The final message was ‘The world is full of kind people. If you can’t find one, be one!’ IMG_5496
