We all remember PE days when the climbing frames came out…. Year 1 have been working on their gymnastics skills and this week got the chance to climb, stretch, balance and jump their way round the hall.

In year 1 we have been looking at measurement in Numeracy. To finish off the week we weighed the ingredients to make Christmas Pudding cakes. It was good fun and they look yummy!! We can’t wait to taste them!
Today is Brainology day! In year one we have learnt how to protect our brain and we have made posters to show this. We have also made our own neurons and completed a maze to test our brains!!! We have had a lot of fun.

No pens day in year one has been fun! We have done a number of different tasks throughout the day including our Numeracy and Literacy. We have created poems about happiness, 1 more and 1 less using cubes, 2D shapes and seascape painting!!
