Year 5 have been studying The Highwayman poem and on Friday we took the Red-Coat soldiers to court to decide on their fate – guilty or not guilty. We had a great time defending and prosecuting and hearing evidence from all sides. The result – guilty on all charges. Article 28, 29, 31.

In music, we’ve been learning about how to accompany music and singing with percussion. We’ve improvised rhythms and developed and performed our ideas in groups.
In year 2, we have been learning how to stay in the lines when printing with paint. We were aiming for perfection with the positioning of our paint circles. We are loving art!

We read the story of Goldilocks. We took on the roles of the characters in the ‘Home Corner’, painted pictures of teddy bears and sequenced the story. It was lots of fun! Article 31
