Members of our school council delivered gifts to our local B&M as part of ‘Cash for Kids Mission Christmas’. This charity aims to provide a gift for every child to wake up to on Christmas morning, helping them meet their right of article 27! A huge thank you to everybody who donated a gift!

When the snow came to Whickham we headed outside to have lots of fun! We caught snowflakes on our tongues, hunted for ice, brushed everything clean of snow, drew and made marks in the snow and looked at our different footprints. When we were done we all went in for some warm milk. What a lovely day!
The school council were pleased to host a visit from our local MP for Blaydon, Liz Twist. Liz received a guided tour of the school from our councillors from year 5 & 6. She was very impressed with the confidence of the children and how proud they all were of our school. The rest of the school
Today we had a great time dancing to a firework song. We had to walk around in a circle holding hands and then listen carefully to the song so that we became fireworks at the right time! We enjoyed waving our fabric pieces in different directions and shapes. Super work everyone! Article 28 31
